Visuo-Perceptivo-Motor Test

Many problems related to the eyes and more specifically to visual abilities can create or contribute to a child's difficulties in school, learning habilities, development and level of attention. For problems learning in school, tests may be recommended by a neuropsychologist, an orthopedagogue and/or a speech therapist, such as visuo-perceptive-motor examination. It consists of the evaluation of eye movements, sweeping and jerks, as well as perceptual processes such as visual and sequential memory, visual discrimination and spatial relations. These tests are done after the complete examination of vision and eye health. It makes it possible for the optometrist to emit an accurate diagnosis in order to propose effective solutions.
