Specialized services

At every one of our independent clinics, you’ll find passionate optometry professionals who care about providing you with outstanding service using the most cutting-edge, innovative equipment.

In addition to ensuring you benefit from a high-quality, bespoke experience and tailored services, every Opto-Réseau clinic also offers highly specialized ocular services.

Specialized services available in our clinics include :

DRY EYE CLINIC

Dry eyes
Dry eye syndrome is a chronic disease that affects more and more patients of all ages. To fight this growing trend, some Opto-Réseau clinics now have their own dry eye clinic to diagnose and treat the symptoms of dry eye.

While people experience dry eye syndrome in different ways, common symptoms include red or irritated eyes, blurred or distorted vision, and watery eyes.

Our solutions
Your Opto-Réseau vision expert will be able to recommend the most adapted solution or treatment plan that will relieve your discomfort. These may include drops, ointments, or specialized treatments (IPL, LipiFlow, Microblepharoexfoliation).

MYOPIA MANAGEMENT

Myopia
Myopia is a visual condition that prevents a person from clearly focusing on distant objects. It’s a common condition that affects many patients and increasingly at a younger age.

Even though myopia cannot be cured, there are now numerous products and treatments available to manage and even slow down its progression. The earlier myopia is diagnosed and managed, the lower the risks of complications or severe eye disease when the patient is an adult.

Our solutions
Opto-Réseau professionals who provide myopia management services use cutting-edge tools and practices to thoroughly assess every case and recommend the right solution – contact lenses, glasses with specialized ophthalmic lenses, or orthokeratology treatments. They’ll also guarantee tailored support.

VISION REHABILITATION

Visual ability problems
Some Opto-Réseau clinics offer vision rehabilitation services. These may include exercises that aim to improve a patient’s ocular motor skills or visual perception.

Vision rehabilitation is often recommended to remedy a child’s vision-related learning problem. It is also useful for patients who have suffered a concussion or who have amblyopia and/or strabismus, or even for the purposes of sports vision training.

Our solutions
A vision rehabilitation program includes regular follow-ups at our clinic as well as a series of exercises that can be done at home depending on the needs of patients. These exercises allow patients to develop, alter, or improve their vision abilities (ocular motor control and perceptual skills).
