We at Opto-Réseau fell hard for Opération Enfant Soleil as a partner ticket-seller for Maison Enfant Soleil signée Bonneville earlier in 2019. We had always known that Opération Enfant Soleil was a worthwhile cause, but after that we wanted to do more. So now Opto-Réseau has become part of the Entreprise Enfant Soleil program—signalling an even stronger commitment to an organization that really does change lives.
This makes us the first eyewear business in Quebec to receive that certification, which is incidentally the first-ever philanthropic certification program for Quebec businesses.
“Selling tickets for the Maison Enfant Soleil raffle at Opto-Réseau clinics was such a great experience,” said Opto-Réseau CEO Christine Breton. “It just made sense to take our relationship with Opération Enfant Soleil to the next level. So here we are—a partner business through Entreprise Enfant Soleil.”
What is Entreprise Enfant Soleil certification?
Philanthropic certification is a way for socially engaged businesses like Opto-Réseau to proudly show their commitment to and financial support for sick children and their families. In addition to corporate donations to Opération Enfant Soleil, Opto-Réseau pledges to put on various other fundraising initiatives to support the cause.
A partnership that just makes sense!
Working to help sick kids is important to us, but the province-wide outreach of Opération Enfant Soleil is tailor-made for Opto-Réseau. Our 82 clinics are located pretty much all over the province, so we wanted to get involved with an organization that touches the lives of all Quebecers.
Kids’ and adults’ health is also central to our mission as a network of eye care clinics. This partnership is truly centred on the bonds between human beings—working for the health and well-being of children while caring for and supporting their parents.
